Custom flowers
Custom flower orders are made available online when flowers have been harvested and inventory is known. If custom flowers are required for a specific date or event, please be in touch directly to coordinate: lisa@girodaylandscapeanddesign.com. Typically custom orders take approx 48 hours to fulfill.
Design
Arrangement style and design is up to the discretion of Summer Flowers/Giroday Landscape & Design. If you have specific requests, please be in touch directly and add any notes to the check out page on your order.
Returns
All sales are final.
Delivery
Local delivery is available within the lower Sunshine Coast from Langdale to Pender Harbour on Tuesday and Friday’s. Delivery rates are organized by proximity to the studio:
- 15 km radius: $15
- 30 km radius: $25
- 45 km from: $35
Pick up
Pick up is an option from the Flower Stand in Roberts Creek for all products except Subscriptions. Address is shared once the order is placed. All orders will be labeled.
Vase life expectations
It is our goal to educate customers on what sustainable flower consumption looks like and while we aim to get the longest vase life possible, understand that all of our flowers are foraged and grown organically and arranged without preservatives. Given this, it’s important to acknowledge that the vase life will vary from those purchased from a typical retail/commercial florist.
Care
Below are some high level suggestions for increasing vase life:
- If you are changing vases, ensure the vase is clean.
- Trim all green and woody stems at a 45-degree angle.
- Feed your flowers: Home made flower food is best.
- Change water daily.
- Keep out of the heat and direct sunlight. Even better, store in the fridge overnight.
- Remove wilting or dying stems.
